That is what the legendary porsche 930 turbo carrera is all about. Respect for the guy who owns one because envy is a very unbecoming character trait. Respect from its exotic and muscular contemporaries whose pushrod v8's and sophisticated v12's just couldn't keep up. Respect for its elders, whose iconic 1963 design all porsche 911's evolved from. And from its operator, who will always surrender his respect to this car, one way or another. Up for sale, in no less than guards red, proudly sporting go faster mods and defiantly scrapping that superfluous ac compressor from under its hallowed rear deck is this unscathed and highly experienced 1979 porsche 930 turbo. Equipped with all the factory goodies including sport seats and limited slip differential, mildly sweetened with stronger and lighter clutch and flywheel assemblies, billy boat performance headers and a period correct set of aftermarket kinesis k19 forged three piece staggered alloy wheels. But the real streusel on top of this rouladen is a 5-speed g50 swap. Endowing this turbo with an extra gear is a revelation, one that took the factory 14 years to share with us mere mortals in the final edition 1989 model. This is a well sorted example that is scary fast, well beyond the stock north american 3. 3 liter's 260 horsepower. It is a thrill to drive. Placid and well mannered around town when operated with restraint, but good luck with that... This is admittedly a high mileage super car, but it's a porsche not a ferrari. These are simple, robust cars that are designed to last a long time and that get better with age as opposed to a ferrari, an automobile line that seldom eclipses 100k miles because they are neither simple nor robust and only get more expensive to maintain with age. The secret of the porsche is in the efficiency and balance of the air cooled flat six, relying on simple valve trains to produce gobs of torque and deliver it in almost direct drive to the rear wheels. There is just less to go wrong and break on a porsche. This car has had its share of engine out rebuilds and reseals, all to its current benefit. No, it has no file full of service records or documented ownership history and in my honest opinion it needs no certificate to prove its authenticity to me or anyone i have let drive it. The proof is in the driver's seat. It has likely served a variety of owners, some as a dutiful daily driver and for others a capable weekend track car. The paint looks fantastic, a likely respray. There are no signs of collision damage or rust anywhere. The interior is also in excellent unrestored condition. All of the lights and instrumentation work including an annoying aftermarket led stochiometer. The sunroof and window lifts work as they should and the glass and weather seals are all in good condition. There is an aftermarket stereo and a multitude of 6x9's in the back for some reason but i have to admit i really haven't even tried to listen to them. I once said staring at my alfa romeo made me feel like i was cheating on my wife. Comparatively the 930 turbo is more like getting ravaged by a tribe of amazon beauties. Excellent example of the coveted 993 porsche. Rare white body with black leather and 6-speed manual transmission. 1995 porsche 911 carrera c2 sunroof coupe. This car is box stock, unmolested, rust free. 84000 miles. Strong motor, smooth shifting, strong clutch and new brake pads and rotors all around. Recent oil and filter service. New potenzas re760 sport tires front and rear. There are a few imperfections but nothing to apologize for; common minor rock chips, one scratched wheel, one very inconspicuous spot on the rear bumper cover and one that would be hidden by the license plate cover. A small chip on the lower edge of the windshield. Cold ac and a great sounding stereo (factory alpine cd). Sunroof and window lifts work perfectly. No rips no tears no stains. Two key fobs, books and most records. I have owned several porsche 911's. My 1981 911sc was charmingly mechanical. My 2002 996 c2 coupe was really fast. This 1995 993 exhibits qualities of both and in every way lives up to its billing and status among the porsche faithful and informed collectors. It delivers a truly perfect driving experience and looks drop dead gorgeous doing it. This car is located in rowlett, texas. Since then I have focused on the mechanical side of things, starting with a compression test which indicated readings of between 150-160 psi across both banks of the 3.0 liter flat six. Up for sale is this stunning 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa finished in its original and rare Minerva Blue Metallic color. I have enjoyed working on it and driving it but now its time to move on to the next one Air Conditioning

Note: this 1971 porsche 911e is being auctioned to the highest bidder on www. Bringatrailer. Com beginning thursday may 19th, ending a week later on may 26th. What we have here is a true survivor, numbers matching, great running 1971 porsche 911e targa. This car received a quality respray in its original gold metallic decades ago and it still shows very, very well. It’s original motor received an early weber conversion (k-jet long gone) by pmo. Other than that this very well equipped car is as it was delivered from the factory including factory ac, "s" front aluminum calipers, power antenna and very rare "deep six" 15" fuchs alloy wheels. This early ’71 911e has its original 2. 2 liter flat 6. The 911e tucks in between the 911t and 911s in porsche’s flat 6 model range. To the porsche development team’s surprise, the '71 911e was actually faster to 100mph than its higher horsepower stablemate 911s. This is how it came to be known as “the secret of zuffenhausen”. This is also the last year for the 901 “dog leg” 5 speed transmission which was succeeded by the long running 915. This car was purchased as “not running” from an arizona estate that we know very little about. The agent was adamant that we not contact the sellers and offered no records other than a photograph of the most recent indiana title. The car was re-titled in the agent's name prior to sale. All of the lights and gauges work except for the clock. The period correct "box" speakers on the back shelf connected to an aftermarket sony head unit sound great. The factory electronic antenna is not working. The horn is intermittent. The car starts right up, idles smoothly and runs cool. It shifts with authority through all five gears and reverse and indicates a strong clutch. The car accelerates nicely and makes great sounds especially in the upper rev range. The bilstiens show no leakage and the car handles crisply and steers like only a porsche can. Brakes perform well. The interior is in excellent original condition. The carpet and vinyl are in exceptional condition as is the steering wheel, dash panel and controls. The floor mounted heater and throttle control operate smoothly. The ac compressor belt was off the car, and at this writing we cannot confirm its operation. The interior controls and fan motors all function properly. There is an aftermarket “un-go box” in unknown operating condition. The targa top is flawless on both the outside cover and headliner. Visors are intact with good filler material. The seat cushions are firm and there is no signs of fiber falling out of them. There is a vinyl wrapped "finishing panel" installed where the rear pocket should be. All of the glass appears original and in great condition. The windows roll up and down smoothly and the wing windows are tight and stay in place at all speeds. The weather stripping is in good shape all around. To be clear, this car is very solid with no corrosion in the floor, front pan, shock towers, pinch welds, inner rockers, inner fenders, under the battery areas, in the cowl, on the door bottoms or around the pedal box. Porsche certificate of authenticity is included. The car is located in scottsdale, az. Air Conditioning✔ Alloy Wheels

Up for sale is this stunning 1982 porsche 911 sc targa finished in its original and rare minerva blue metallic color. Despite the high miles this car is in overall excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. This is my fifth air cooled 911 and third 911 sc. I have enjoyed working on it and driving it but now its time to move on to the next one. This car had just received a high quality glass out respray when i bought it early this year. The interior was in great shape too, including the targa top. Since then i have focused on the mechanical side of things, starting with a compression test which indicated readings of between 150-160 psi across both banks of the 3. 0 liter flat six. I gave it a thorough tune up which included new rotor and cap, ignition wires and spark plugs as well as fresh o2 sensor and relay. I changed most of the vacuum lines and i changed the fuel filter and fuel accumulator. I also changed a leaky oil pressure sender and weepy oil return hose and the drive belts. Fresh oil and filter. This car runs great and pulls strong through all five gears of its 915 transmission the clutch feels fresh and the motor sounds like, well an air cooled boxer. Hearing some bearing rumble in the rear wheel, i changed the rear sealed bearings and the inner and outer front bearings. I changed the cv axle shafts. I also serviced the emergency brake. The bilstien shocks are firm and in good working condition. The ac held a vacuum and was recharged with r134. People new to these cars always ask, "does the ac blow cold?" to which the used car salesman usually says "it needs a charge" and the old guys who know just say "take the belt off". If i were to keep the car i would remove the entire ac system, put it in a box and eliminate the frustration these dealer installed options present. Imho they just get in the way of real work under the hood. Besides, targas are best operated with the top off, they are a pure joy to drive. This car also has some very rare and very cool period correct french made etoile multi-piece wheels that are in excellent condition. After researching them on pelican and rennsport i discovered that they are very sought after. I think they compliment the car well and i have never considered chasing down a set of fuchs for this car because i think these look great. Most everything is in working order, the windows move up and down smoothly, the heater controls work properly. The clock is intermittent and the power antenna temperamental. The pioneer head unit works fine but the speakers aren't very good. Since i shuttle my little blue tooth jam box between my classic car collection i will leave the stereo improvements to the next owner. This car is now well sorted and is ready for a loving new caretaker. I was always a coupe guy, but after owning and living with targas i am a convert and i have always been a big fan of the "jelly bean" colored cars like this one. Whether i am driving it or just looking at it, it always puts a smile on my face. Air cooled porsches are one of the most enduring classic and collectible cars, aside from their timeless looks and driving dynamics the one thing that sets them apart from just about any other is the robustness of the materials and mechanicals from which they are comprised. So long as these cars are maintained and serviced they will last a very, very long time and will prove to be a very good investment to boot. This car is offered for sale as is where is. Trades for other import and domestic classics considered, no boats or bikes please. Tachometer✔ Air Conditioning
